Hail to the sidekicks, the co-conspirators, the abettors who are at your side through thick and thin. 

Tomorrow, next year, decades from now, you’ll raise your shot glasses — avatars that you created united around a flaming crucible — with all-knowing winks and smirks.

The Melting Point — the essential element to fill your soirée with treasured memories. 

The Details

Our glass artist’s, Austin and Jordan, will unleash your creativity, guiding you step by step as you choose your colors, gather molten glass and, well, why spoil the surprise? Just know that it will be a blast.

When and How Long: 

Your party will be for 2-3 hours. Most of our events are in the afternoon so you can carry on into the night, but evenings can be made available pending scheduling.

During Your Event:  

Our gallery will be open, but the hot shop or torch studio is all yours. No other classes or events will overlap. For an additional fee, we’ll close our gallery and the whole place in yours. 

Number of People in Your Party:     

Up to 10 (ten) in the hot shop and 12 in the torch studio (twelve)

Your Very Own Shot Glass:     

Everyone will make their own commemorative shot glass in their favorite colors. Each shot glass is an actual piece of hot-glass art, and because it’s imperative that hot-glass art anneal overnight, the shot glasses will be ready for pick up the next day. We have shipping options available for those who can’t get back in.. 

For safety reasons you and your guests must: 

• sign a liability release form 
• wear closed-toe shoes
• tie back your long tresses 
• wear short or fitted sleeves

Please be aware 

Creating beautiful glass can be grubby work. While we do have a limited number of aprons available upon request, we require you to wear clothes that can get dirty or marked. After all, you can change into your ready-to-rock-the-night stuff before you take the party into the night.

Catering:

You absolutely can have your event catered, but you’ll have to handle all the arrangements. We can, if you wish, make recommendations.  Food and alcohol are permitted pending proper documentation of caterer (food handlers card, special events permit). Without the proper documentation, we cannot allow alcohol on site.

Cancellations:  

Up to 7 days before the event; full refund.
