As you saunter in, you are surrounded by a hip, non-touristy, metropolitan feeling environment and greeted by a giant menu board. Awesome music is playing, but not too loud, and the owner, even DJ’s on some nights. The enticing aroma of the best burgers in Sedona waif through the air along with the wonderful scent of freshly made gourmet fries (rustic, yucca, and sweet potato!). There is an array of dipping sauces to partner them with that provides something for everyone (curry/mint, smoked cheese, bacon and cheese, Rioja style, Caballo and garlic). Prices are reasonable, which is a find on its own for this little tourist town!
To your left is an eclectic little bar that serves my favorite drink in town, a smoky margarita. There are several other signature drinks but if you like mezcal at all, do try the smoky margarita. Even though there is a bar, it is definitely family-friendly and kids, as well as Mom and Dad, will all love the food.
Dellapiane is amongst the small number of businesses that is open after nine at night on the weekends (until 10!). On the sleepier weekdays, they close at 8:30 pm and are closed entirely on Mondays. They are open at 11:00 am for those that want a super yummy lunch!
The serving staff is second to none, friendly and knowledgeable, and because the owner has been discerning in his selections of servers, they all have a hip, happy vibe.
If you are coming to Sedona soon, plan a night out to go to Dellapiane!
